Hi,
my name is Hannah Hurley and I am a fitness enthusiast. I have been on a
journey for 6 years finding my way through races, gyms, videos, and books on
how to stay fit and healthy.
I
started my journey in 2010, on some running trails one morning. I usually just
hit the gym as I had just previously been married,
so staying slim and trim was
still an ever-present worry. I’m a big foodie, so if I want to stay trim, I’ve
gotta stay active. So out on the running trail, I pondered this thought on a beautiful
spring afternoon,
“Am I a runner?”
Previously, the only running I ever did was chasing after a ball in soccer or
basketball. But this novel idea came to me that maybe I could become a runner.
So every so often I lace up my shoes and head out for a run. So but surely
those 10 minute miles became 9, then 8, then 7. Then it was 1 mile, 2 miles, 6
miles, and before I knew it I signed up for a half marathon.
I’ve
since leaned out my running schedule after a marathon in March 2013, and
incorporated more barre workouts and yoga. Its always a journey so here I am in
hopes of inspiring you with the lastest and greatest…and cutest!
